Seeing the shapes and patterns of life that exist naturally, but with a different perspective, has been the inspiration for the visual arts I create; whether it is photography, painting or drawing.

My work is inspired from dreams, my imagination, and what I see in the world.  It may be a distortion of reality, extremely realistic, or a combination.

In 2020, I made a transition from a long career in IT to work as a visual artist. Since then I have been exploring abstraction, producing work that is more about texture, color and composition and less about representational subject matter.

Chicago and Michigan were my homes until 2016 when I fell in love with the Sonoran desert and am now based in Tucson, Arizona.
